Pre-opening Services
Based on our experience, we devise successful pre-opening strategies in a timely and efficient manner for hotel, club, resort, wellness centre and similar developments. The pre-opening scope includes following phases:
Project Positioning Statement
Pre-opening Services - Phase I
Mission Consulting, with input from the Developer, shall prepare and present within Thirty days from the signature of the Agreement a clear Positioning Statement and Business Plan for the Project.
This Positioning Statement will set clear guidelines on the classification, operating concepts, market positioning, and operating philosophy of the Hotel and will include an initial 2 years projections, with the following information:
- Estimated Hotel Revenues
- Profit & Loss Forecasts
- Cash flow forecast including detailed operating expenses
During the development of the Project Positioning Statement, Mission Consulting will work with the owner and the appointed project architect to improve on the existing plan on which to base concepts and financial forecasts.
Project Outline
Pre-opening Services - Phase II
Based on the Positioning Statement and in coordination with the appointed architect and interior designer, a detailed project outline related to the development of the Hotel or development will be prepared by Mission Consulting for the Developer review and approval, which includes but is not limited to the following information and/or revision:
- Development of a food and beverage concept profile
- Public area requirement
- Back Of The House requirement
- Room amenities requirement
- Hotel Amenities Requirement
- Operational Workflow and staffing guide
- A marketing analysis and sales plan
Pre-opening Plan & Activities
Phase III
Mission Consulting shall, based on its experience and expertise, prepare and supervise the pre-opening plan and timing required for the opening of the Hotel. Pre-Opening Activities shall commence approximately six months prior to the opening date of the Project and shall include the following :
- Prepare all operational specifications
- Participate in the budgetary process,
- selection and purchase of FF&E & OS&E
- Supervision and development of SOPs
- Recruit & Train all employees
- Sales & Marketing
- Reservation Standards & Distribution
- Brand Identity & Marketing Communication
- Undertake to secure and make contractual arrangements
- Prepare and monitor the pre-opening budget and all expensesPre-launch
